Cardiac BioSimulator
Visualize Device Delivery & Deployment in a Pressurized Heart
Our Cardiac BioSimulator is the ideal platform for visualizing cardiovascular device delivery and conducting training sessions. This innovative system connects a cadaveric heart to a pulsatile fluid circulation, simulating venous and arterial pressures using an external pump to generate cardiac output. Unlike PhysioHeart™, where the heart itself acts as the pump, the Cardiac BioSimulator uses precise computer-controlled stroke volume to actuate the heart.
With customizable vascular add-ons, this platform supports a variety of delivery pathways, including trans-apical, trans-aortic, venous, and trans-septal methods. The realistic hydrodynamics and heart wall movement allow for a detailed assessment of device functionality, implantability, and operability. Advanced Vascular Bioreactor for Long-Term Vessel Culture
VABIO (Vascular BIOreactor) bridges the gap between non-physiological in-vitro studies and costly in-vivo animal studies. This innovative platform enables long-term ex-vivo culture of isolated blood vessels under controlled flow and pressure, closely mimicking physiological conditions. With features like automatic medium exchange and blood-like medium for enhanced tissue viability, VABIO surpasses traditional in-vitro setups.
